Grab rails are the foundation of the Lencare business.
We have built a solid reputation on our 304 stainless steel range of rails, providing much more than the standard grab rail. With contributions from key industry figures on standards and market requirements, Lencare has a range of products that cover every aspect of the grab rail market.
Lencare offers the Australian Standards size grab rail diameter of 32mm. Our rail selection is simplified in this way – Grab Rails, that are ready to install. if that doesn’t suit, then we have Grab Rails that can be built from tubing and relevant parts. We call this a Modular System.
Ramp Rails are another range we offer. This system is designed to work as a complimentary rail system fitting to a timber framed ramp in a residential setting. The products are ideally suited to be installed in a horizontal layout, attaching to the timber framework of the ramp.
Our Handrail system is an exciting new addition to the Lencare range. The Ritefit Rails collection is a system where a complete rail build can be achieved, whether over steps, on a concrete or timber ramp or to provide a rail structure to a landing in a residential environment. This system’s components are 38mm in diameter and has a vertical aspect to it, giving it a distinct advantage when using it in the aforementioned situations.
The ready to install grab rail range is 32mm in diameter. This also applies to the modular grab rails. We carry a smaller range of 25mm diameter ready to use grab rails. There are options of concealed & exposed fix in both ranges, with more emphasis placed on our stock holding of the more usable 32mm diameters. Note that modular isn’t available in the smaller diameter.
Variations of grab rails exist within our range, some of the range include narrower single & double hole flange fixing, offset models enabling easier and safer exit of doors, drop down rails with or without a stabilizing leg, commercial rails such as ambulant, compliant toilet and bathroom rails to name a few.
As you will see, Lencare can provide a rail solution for nearly all situations, offering both residential and commercial clients a wide choice of safe, innovative and reliable products.

It’s a standard elbow end but the 38mm model is packed and sold individually rather than in pairs due to it’s more limited need when creating these styles of rails and ramps. Made with a 75mm flange and cover plate, swaged on one end and provided with a dress ring.
There is a second model available that is an extended version. This has been manufactured to allow a rail to comfortable pass a stormwater pipe or guttering that may be attached to the outside of a building. This model is 75mm longer than the standard one, making it 150mm from it’s fixing point.

Brackets, Rail Insert Brackets, Rail Series, RiteFit RailsSimilar to the basic design of the ARP-38 but instead of having the lug beneath, this has an insert adaptor that fits inside the vertical leg and is held in place by an appropriate adhesive, rivet or screw. The rail fits on to an adjustable cupped bracket and once the desired angle has been achieved, there is a provision to lock off that angle on the stem of the support bracket by allen key fixing. It has two fixing holes on the diagonal axis. The initial streamlined model requires the rail to fit flush with the top of the insert adaptor. It is made with a four degree angle (1:14), allowing it to be the ideal implement to achieve angles required due to the fall of the land. These wedges are also stackable if more than one is required.
If the situation arises that one or two wedges are required beneath the flange, the depth of the 30mm flange cover aids in covering all or nearly all of the stacking beneath. Rail Series, Reducing Adaptor, RiteFit RailsThis item is a reducing adaptor, built along the same lines as the HRA-38 but made for a 32mm tube. The idea comes from installers who want the additional strength of the 38mm system but are using 32mm tubing. It can be used in 32mm horizontal rail installs, (which has no vertical leg component) where a vertical leg is situationally required for the install but without losing the 32mm rail aspect. Some end users may not have the hand capacity or strength to utilize a 38mm rail system, situations like those are ideal for this product. Like it’s 38mm counterpart, this product is built exactly the same but the through hole size is reduced to accommodate 32mm tubing. It fits exactly the same way to the multi purpose adaptor as the 38mm model. It too has bevelled edges either side of the product, offering a smooth hand transition. This bracket provides that, as an auxiliary support device if deemed necessary. It extends straight from the wall 95mm to the furthest edge of the bracket. The bracket slides over the 38mm leg and is supported by a locating grub screw securing to the leg. It’s fixing plate measures 75mm x 40mm, hole positions 57mm centre to centre, 6.5 mm diameter.
